• Organisation name and billing details
• OAuth tokens for Google services (stored encrypted)

Website data (via integrations you connect):

• Google Search Console data: search queries, clicks, impressions, positions
• Google Analytics 4 data: sessions, users, pageviews, traffic sources
• First-party pixel events: anonymised pageviews and engagement metrics
• Site crawl data: page metadata, technical SEO issues, performance metrics

Usage data:

• Log data including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited
• Feature usage for product improvement purposes

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• To generate AI-powered SEO recommendations on your behalf
• To send transactional emails (account alerts, reports, billing)
• To process payments via our billing provider (Stripe)
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• To comply with legal obligations

4. Google API Data

SEO Tracker accesses Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 data on your behalf using OAuth 2.0. This data is used exclusively to provide the features you have requested within the Service. We do not use Google user data to serve advertising, and we do not share Google API data with third parties except as necessary to provide the Service.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke access at any time by disconnecting the integration from your settings or via your Google Account permissions.

5. First-party Analytics Pixel

Our optional first-party pixel collects anonymised visitor data on your website. Visitor IDs are derived from a hashed fingerprint and contain no personally identifiable information. The pixel respects the browser's "Do Not Track" signal. No data collected by the pixel is shared with advertising networks.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on encrypted databases hosted on AWS (af-south-1 region). OAuth access tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. Backups are retained for 7 days. We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS in transit, network isolation, and regular security reviews. However, no system is 100% secure.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Anthropic — AI analysis (your SEO data is submitted to Claude API to generate recommendations)
• AWS — cloud infrastructure hosting
• Law enforcement or regulators when required by law

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Historical SEO data (rankings, traffic, crawl results) is retained according to your plan tier (3–24 months). Upon account deletion, your data is purged within 30 days. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate personal data
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
